Description Review of Newton`s laws of motion. Hamilton`s principle, variational method and Lagrange`s equations with and without constraints. Central force, Kepler`s laws. Hamilton`s equations, canonical tranformation, Poisson brackets. Periodic motion, small oscillations, normal coordinates. Rigid body dynamics, moment of inertia tensor, Euler equations, motion of a symmetric top. Frames of reference, rotating frames, centrifugal and Coriolis forces.
